OVERVIEW
RDNS SA (Royal District Nursing Service) operate their mobile healthcare services throughout Adelaide and Queensland with over 650 mobile staff travelling extensively each day to visit patients. This represents around 85% of the workforce who use mobile devices to access record management systems every day to keep their 6,500 clients properly managed.
Given the importance of client care particularly when lives are on the line, RDNS SA need to ensure business continuity of vital systems. The customer looked to Optus Business to implement a robust disaster recovery solution for critical systems as a means of mitigating risk to the business and clients.
CHALLENGE
With the planned consolidation of 4 buildings into a single head office in Keswick SA, the new premises would house the primary Data Centre and serve as the central hub to supporting 10 satellite branches and services such as IT, telephony and the RDNS SA Contact Centre.
